The fiber you eat "feeds" your gut bacteria, which control the chemical processes responsible for the use of nutrients in your food and in turn how you feel, your fitness, your overall health, and development of physical and mental illnesses. People who eat at least the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of fiber every day are:
● Less likely to be overweight or obese, so less likely to have type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome,
● More likely to enjoy better immune health so less likely to have heart disease, inflammatory diseases, cancer, severe infections
● More likely to enjoy better mental health and less likely to have develop depression, dementia, other neurodegenerative diseases
● Have better gut function, so less likely to have constipation, diverticular disease, and hemorrhoids (piles)
Watch your progress in achieving your target daily intake every day in real-time as you use the keypad or speech recognition if available (touch the microphone icon) to record your food and beverage intake.
You can also view your progress over time on your Month view dashboard, and export your food diaries and fiber intake into a spreadsheet for your own information or to share with your healthcare provider.
Apple's HealthKit functionality is integrated in the app's user interface so you can share your data with Apple's Health app. You can also synchronize the app with all your Apple devices.
The foods and amounts you eat can be recorded easily and quickly using speech recognition or by favoriting (touch broken heart icon) foods and using the serving sizes provided (which you can changed to your serving sizes if different).
Add your own branded or other foods and recipes to the 300+ common foods and 10 recipes already loaded into the app

The interface is easy, quick, and intuitive to navigate, but it can be useful to familiarise yourself with the full functionality of the app by touching the icons, words, and bars on every screen and swiping left and right on the Tracker screen.
